Peter was born in Ireland and came to America based on a misunderstanding. He thought "No Irish Need Apply" meant the Irish were all shoo-ins for jobs over here. His rude awakening inspired him to learn a trade, so he turned his hand to comedy writing. Today Peter provides humorous presentations at business conferences. In the first few months of 2006 he’ll appear at gatherings in Florida, New Jersey and Washington State. At Tri-state Bloomberg Radio (WBBR-AM
1130) he wrote and presented a weekly topical humor piece. Dispensing
advice as "The Finance Ear," Peter had a successful fifteen-month run. His comedy writing has appeared in Inside HRNY and Wealth Manager. He also contributes regularly to Employee Benefit News. Peter’s comedy writing is garnering increasing national attention. He has been named a winner or finalist in more sitcom spec contests than any other writer on the competition circuit. A The Simpsons he wrote, in which Homer becomes a financial planner, has gone on to become the most award-winning TV spec of all time according to the website that tracks rising scriptwriters. His reputation for sharp comedy writing has also been fueled by profiles at MediaBistro.com and TheWritersPlace.org. Nothing if not versatile, Peter also illustrated a book for a McGraw-Hill author. Peter still has some availability for speaking engagements in 2006. Contact him.
